Once you've determined what type of entity your new business will be, the next step is to create the business. I will supply you with a checklist of questions to answer, but you should begin thinking about questions such as; How will my business be funded? Will I have business partners? Who will own the business? What do I want to happen if I leave or sell the business?
Depending on the type of entity, I will draft the partnership agreement, operating agreement, or corporate bylaws and accompanying documents. All of the required documents will then be filed with the Colorado Secretary of State and the appropriate government agencies.
